In Creative Suite, users' access to a company's content and their ability to make changes is determined by the role they have. As a company admin, you will be able to assign roles to your users to ensure they have the appropriate permissions.

Here is a list of roles that users can be assigned in Creative Suite.

Role

Description

Administrator

Administrators have complete access and control over the company's account in Creative Suite. These users can add/remove users, change permissions, edit billing and subscriptions settings, and view/edit any property in Creative Suite.

Manager

Managers can add, edit, delete and download any app in Creative Suite.

Developer

Developer can add, edit, delete and download their own apps.

Analyst

Analyst can view Insights (Link to Insights article) and settings for apps but cannot make changes.

Recorder

This is a Replay-specific role and users who are assigned the Recorder role will not have any permissions on Playable.

The Recorder role will only allow the user to create, save and upload gameplay recordings using Luna Replay enabled builds. They will not be able to perform any other actions like, for example, viewing or editing apps in Creative Suite.

Create and Manage seats

Create and Manage seats are used for the purposes of billing and plan limits, they are automatically assigned to your users based on that user's role in Creative Suite. Different roles map to one or both of the seat types (see this mapping below). When assigning roles to new or existing users in your company, you will be limited by the number of Create and Manage seats remaining on your subscription (if applicable).

We count a Create seat when a user is assigned a role that allows them to use our suite of creation tools (Plugins, elements, etc) but not access Insights or export/download creatives etc, such as a developer role. In contrast, a Manage seat is counted when a user has a role that allows them to use the creative library, view Insights and publish creatives but not use the plugins. In the case of the admin role, we count both a Create and Manage seat because users with that role can perform any action any other role can.
